The Desolation Center events took place in the era when vinyl still ruled the soundwaves. For many film aficionados owning and watching the DVD is like having your favorite LP on vinyl.  This Desolation Center theatrical version DVD features interviews and rare performance footage of Sonic Youth, Minutemen, Meat Puppets, Swans, Redd Kross, Einstürzende Neubauten, Survival Research Laboratories, Savage Republic, Psi-Com and more, woven together with never-before-seen archival video, live audio recordings, and amazing stills.

Check out Desolation Center in the final cut that screened in theaters across North America from the Roxie in SF to the IFC Center in New York.
